If you are no longer able to meet your basic needs, or if you have to resort to excessive credit or work excessive hours to the detriment of your health and studies, the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid team can help you.

Temporary financial support program

Eligible students may receive a fixed, one-time amount to cover approximately two months of rent and groceries. This financial support is made possible thanks to the generosity of several donors.

Eligibility criteria

• Have completed a first semester of studies at Laval University.
• No longer be able to meet basic needs.
• Be currently experiencing financial hardship.
• Have a budget deficit.
• No longer be able to further reduce expenses or increase income.
• See their studies compromised.
• Have a realistic study plan.
• Have no other viable solution to restore their financial situation.
