Proof of studies required
If you receive or have previously received loans and bursaries from Aide financière aux études (AFE), we may ask you to confirm your registration or provide a transcript or proof of graduation.
In all cases, the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office can confirm your situation for AFE without you needing to provide anything.
If you already have an active request for financial aid, we will automatically provide AFE with proof of your registration for each semester of study. However, if you register after the semester has begun, you will need to contact us.
Should you require proof of registration to be exempted from repaying your student loan, please contact us.
AFE may request your transcript, particularly if you apply to have 90 completed course credits recognized. If this is the case, come see us directly. We will process the application for you and you won’t have to provide any documents.
Should you need to provide proof of your bachelor’s degree to AFE, you can contact us directly and we will process the application for you.
Note: You do not have to wait for your official graduation to apply. You can apply as soon as the note “Degree Obtained” appears in your file.
